	BBC COMEDY presents THE SALFORD SITCOM SHOWCASE BBC North and BBC Comedy Commissioning are pleased to announce that the Sitcom Showcase is back for the second year running ! Six of the best new comedy scripts will be staged 'as live' over three nights at the BBC Salford Sitcom Showcase at MediaCityUK. The chosen scripts have been drawn from independent comedy suppliers and BBC In-House and each one will have a theatrical presentation over three evenings during November 2012 at MediaCity, Salford Quays, Manchester. The six scripts will come from talent across the UK and offer a variety of comedy voices hoping to find a home on BBC1, BBC2 or BBC3. Two of last year's scripts went on to become series : Citizen Khan and Hebburn. Booking is not yet open but if you would like to be informed when booking opens then register your interest now!
