Chloe Petts (The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Hypothetical) presents a new five-part stand-up series for BBC Radio 4. Chloe Petts’ Toilet Humour explores the history of the loo and how we relate to one another within them. Starting in the latrines of Ancient Rome passing through to whatever George Michael was getting up to in the 1990s, Chloe Petts looks backwards to try and make sense of how we've got to where we are now; a culture war being fought in a place where she once did a sh*t so big they had to retire the toilet.

In 2023, Petts performed her debut show Transience to sold-out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and for two 5-night runs at Soho Theatre. She is an alumna of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award, finalist of Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards 2017 and runner-up in the Funny Women Awards 2017. As well as supporting Ed Gamble on his Electric UK tour and Frank Skinner during his West End run. Chloe performed at Melbourne International Comedy Festival last year and is returning with her new show for this upcoming year’s festival.

As a believer in democracy – and as someone who was on the winning side of the Brexit referendum – Geoff Norcott generally believes that if we, the people, vote for something, that thing should happen. But are there limits to Geoff’s belief in populism, as this is now generally called?

For example, every opinion poll shows that if there were to be a referendum on the death penalty, it would be brought back, despite the fact that there’s no evidence it works. In America the individual right to an abortion has been taken away from women “democratically” in some states, something Geoff views as abhorrent (not to mention unconservative). And there’s little doubt that if every new building had to have democratically approved, the United Kingdom would never build another house ever again.

Jo Brand hosts Comedy Against Living Miserably, the third in a series of stand-up specials in partnership with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). Joining Jo will be Tom Allen, Russell Kane, and Marlon Davis.

THE TEZ O'CLOCK SHOW

One of the most exciting break out stars in British comedy, Tez Ilyas, has his own show, The Tez O’Clock Show, a late-night satirical comedy show… that is TRULY anti-establishment – it’s hosted by a northern working-class British-Asian-Muslim.

Comedian Tez Ilyas presents a fast-paced mix of stand-up, sketches and studio antics. Filmed in Manchester with a combination of comedians and celebrity guests, this hilarious and subversive show will blow the cobwebs off TV satire and prove once and for all that it’s possible to joke about anyone and anything without getting cancelled.

The show is a topical mix of sketches and studio antics, including provocative monologues and celebrity interviews.

Crashing into the studio show will be parodies, sketches and news bulletins from the Pakistani Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), starring Man Like Mobeen’s Guz Khan and comedian Sindhu Vee, which will provide a satirical take on the news and show Britain (and the West) in a very different light.

The studio show sees Tez take part in a briefing room – just like the ones that happened when he worked at the Home Office - on the hot topics of the day.
