Isabelle Farah's sell-out Edinburgh Fringe 2021 show. Ellipsis later transferred to the Soho Theatre and was listed by Chortle in the Top Ten shows of 2021. As part of their Fringe Flashback Festival, NextUp Comedy and The Bedford are bringing this hit show back to you. Don't miss it!
Isabelle is a British-Lebanese actor, comedian, and writer. As a comedian, she trained at the Soho Theatre, and she has since gigged across the UK and in Beirut, Lisbon, and New York City. She has had two successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2022, the Evening Standard tipped her as a Next Big Thing, and Graham Norton said she was “a heat-beating” after watching Irresponsabelle at the Fringe. She has written for Radio 4 and has been part of the writers room for a new project for Channel 4. She is developing two further TV projects. Her finest work is playing a glazed ham in a Walkers Christmas Crisps commercial.

Pete Heat: Blimey - Live at The Bedford
A joyously unhinged hour of stand-up, magic and inspired lunacy. Join lanky urban wizard Pete Heat as he uses comedy and mind-blowing tricks to explore that most divisive of subjects: magic itself. Is it an incredible, visceral experience that loosens your grasp on reality, or a dated, cliche-riddled embarrassment? Is it both? Are all magicians terrible people? Was that your card? HAS PETE WASTED HIS LIFE?

★★★★ - World Magic Review
This fresh and funny show, full of jokes, tricks and jaw-dropping magic, is a collage of stand-up comedy, confessional peeks behind the curtain, and bona-fide miracles, that will leave you wondering how he does it, while he wonders why.
“Like Noel Fielding performing sleight of hand, some lanky, cuddly love-child of Demetri Martin and Mitch Hedberg” - Fest ★★★★
Can Pete rekindle his love for the world’s dorkiest profession, in a warm and hilarious show that makes you reassess the genre, while also making you reappraise your own choices? Sure, why not.
Hate magic? You’ll love this show. Love magic? You’ll REALLY love this show.
"The constant oscillation between excellent jokes and superb wizardry really is a thrilling ride" ★★★★★ - The Wee Review
“How the ★★★★ did he do that?” - ThreeWeeks
Pete is one of the world’s top magicians. He taught actual Dumbledore (well, he was hired by Jude Law, as his personal magic coach for Fantastic Beasts), and he regularly performs for celebrities all over the world. He also stars in a number of TV series, including Secrets of The Brain and Around The World In 80 Tricks (Prime Video). He even creates magic for other magicians, working behind the scenes for shows like Tricked and Britain’s Got Talent.
“I have never seen a better magician than this lanky dude” - Dawn French
But as much as he loves magic, he is starting to realise that he sometimes, maybe, kind of hates it too. It’s fascinating, but it’s embarrassing. It pays his bills, but it’s taken over his life.
“Excellent at what he does, and very, very funny” ★★★★★ - FringeGuru
